As one of North-East India’s biggest food innovation and food processing shows and a first of its kind in North-Eastern India, a covered exhibition floor area of 3 acres, generating close to Rs. 24 Cr worth of business, it was a resounding success. It also created a Global platform to ‘Inspire Food Business’ for the region.

The Show offers a not- to- be missed opportunity for the National & International Markets to connect with local producers and entrepreneurs from the North-East. It aims to become a must-go-to holistic platform for “North East Food Business” covering all verticals of the food industry and the entire gamut of the “Farm to Fork” value chain. Wine Pavilion

North-Eastern states are a treasure trove for exotic fruits like Kiwis, Gooseberries, Peaches and Passion fruits, Sohiong and Plums and are already producing fruit wine from these fruits and many others. They would find a ready market in several States in India and help reduce wastage of fresh fruits at the production centres making it a viable solution. The Show will help the exhibitors find a suitable Distribution channel.

The wine producers in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa find the North-East market very lucrative and will be present to attract a bigger and more focused market. Fratelli Wines, Grover Vineyards, Karnataka Wine Board, Good Drop Wine Cellars and Rhythm Wines have confirmed the participation from Maharashtra and Karnataka whereas wineries like Abba Nara from Arunachal Pradesh will lead the pack from North-east

Added for the first time, the Wine Pavilion is supported by Vinexpo which had launched Vinexpo India in partnership with Inter Ad Exhibitors in Delhi on 9-11 December last year. Says Rod Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium which is the holding company responsible for wine shows like Vinexpo Paris etc., 'We are happy to extend our reach and Collaboration with our Indian partners and support the efforts to add wine pavilion within the food exhibition. We foresee a huge demand from our collaborators and looking at the vast Indian market, we are willing to support it there.'
