Kavita has worked with Hotel Aman Delhi for two years, practically since its inception and has been very popular with guests as a sommelier and wine expert because of her interesting, crisp and engaging style of presenting the wines for any event.
‘I have enjoyed my time here in India so much and I truly believe that the main reason for that is because of the wonderful people I have been lucky to meet here,’ Kavita says while reminiscing of the good times she has had.
Aman has not been doing too well as a hotel or even as a restaurant but her knowledge and passion kept the Cata@Corcho casual wine tasting weekly programme on Thursday at 1500 +taxes an interesting feature for those willing to learn about wine along with enjoying them with food at the Tapas Bar at the hotel on Lodhi Road. Because of the emphasis on the Spanish cuisine, she has helped promote and educate people a lot on Spanish wines and Sherries
With her departure, Delhi will be losing a top sommelier and the Spanish wines a capable spokesperson.
