Prowein 2025: Fair Match an innovative matchmaking tool Debut
A bit like the Indian Wedding Portal, Shaadi.com, it makes ProWein- the most important meeting point for the international wine and spirits industry professional more effective in establishing contact and networking between trade visitors and exhibitors easier and more effective. ProWein will deploy this digital match-making tool Fair Match at Prowein 2025 for the first time.
With this innovative application on the ProWein Portal and the App, one can start a selective search and contact the exhibitor (and vice versa) directly. Thus, based on the visitor’s interests and the products offered by an exhibitor matching contacts are recommended better to the visitor, saving valuable time and making the visit to the trade fair even more productive and efficient since time is a precious commodity for both the exhibitors and visitors due=ring the 3 short days.
With Fair Match Contacts can be saved, appointments made directly via the platform and conversations can be held conveniently via a chat function integrated into the ProWein App. Users can search and filter exhibitors, products, sectors or professional designations in order to find relevant contacts.

“Digitalization is what makes or breaks the success of trade fairs these days. With Fair Match we have created an innovative platform that makes it possible for trade visitors and exhibitors to make contact selectively. This means they will find it easier to meet the right business partners, discover relevant products and make their trade fair visit even more efficient,” explains Peter Schmitz, Director of ProWein.
A user-friendly tool
User-friendliness was an important factor while developing ‘Fair Match’. Anyone registering on the trade fair website can use the tool, rendering duplicate registration superfluous. The personal profile allows users to state their interests, their searched for/offered products as well as industry affiliation and receive the best matches possible for networking.

The whole world of wines and spirits in 3 action packed days
Under the motto “Discover the Taste of Tomorrow” exhibitors from over 60 nations will present their wines and spirits from 16 to 18 March 2025. However, the Show is strictly a B2B event and entry requires proper credentials. For tickets and more information go to www.prowein.com.
Nine out of eleven exhibition halls at the exhibition ground await trade visitors with a comprehensive range of wines and spirits from most of the global wine-growing regions across all continents. Two additional halls will introduce decision-makers from retail and gastronomy to a unique line-up of spirits at another sector nomenclature as ProSpirits.
The top-notch exhibitor ranges are enhanced by a high-caliber supporting program on all three trade fair days. The Champagne Lounge is my personal favourite. For details of several other special programs that make Prowein, perhaps the most important Show in the world, visit their website-Prowein.com.

ProWein vibes also for non-professionals
While the experts from around the world will be really busy attending an array of events at the fairgrounds, ProWein Goes City bridges the gap to consumers. From 13 to 18 March there will be wine and spirits tastings offered all over the city, special menus at many restaurants and cultural events. In excess of 100 events in total are planned.
ProWein 2025 is thus a must-attend event for all wine and spirits industry professionals.
