Wine India Moves: FineWinesnMore Fine n More

Sanjeev Arora has joined FWM as Vice President-Sales & Business Development. Based initially in Delhi, he will report to Dharti Desai, CEO and Founder and will oversee all India sales activities of FWM and will also be responsible for new business and projects.

He comes on board after Sumedh Singh Mandla, the erstwhile partner of FineWinesNMore recently retired from the partnership, as was reported in delWine

'He brings with him more than 13 years of business experience in corporate  organisational  environment with exposure to focus in the customer care domain,' confirmed Dharti from New York where she is negotiating a few wine deals which she is confident will propel the company up several notches.

Sanjeev has been the CEO for Gold Star, importing wines for a year. He had slowly carved a niche for himself but being alone he found it difficult to keep afloat and decided he was a better performer as a team player in a corporate type, financially strong company.

Born and brought up in London, he says, 'I had visions of setting up a progressive wine business in this growing market. But in UK we are used to working in a straight forward manner. Things are too complex for me here so I decided working with Dharti who I feel is very professional and focussed offers a better option. '

Says Maureen Kerleau a Paris based British exporter who has worked with Sanjeev for almost two years 'his dynamic attitude, wine knowledge and  amazing contacts he has developed with so many big f&b personalities with his exceptional portfolio  that he will be a huge asset for any dynamic importer.'
