Sumedh was the partner of erstwhile Brandwagon when he decided to dissolve the firm and join FWM founded in January 2007 by Dharti Desai, a senior partner. The new firm had taken over all the assets and liabilities of the disbanded firm. Dharti takes complete control of the company through her family.
The change is with immediate effect.
Dharti claimed it to be an amicable settlement and respects the decision he has taken. Sumedh whom delWine traced in Chandigarh visiting his ailing mother-in-law feels, 'the partnership was not working out as a commercially viable proposal for me.' On being asked about his next move, he said,' I signed the retirement papers only yesterday. I have a few options I am working on. I will finalise something by next week.'
