JOSEPH DROUHIN BROUILLY 2002
One of the most famous crus of Beaujolais and the most Southern one. The hill where the vines grow looks like the cone of a volcano. The slopes are steep and crisscrossed by small, narrow roads. The soil is made of pink and black granite: an excellent terroir for the Gamay grape which grows extremely well here. The wine is deep r uby in colour, while the bouquet reveals aromas of violet, lilac and sometimes wild blackberry. The tannins are supple and the flavours are lasting on the palate.

TAYLORS ST. ANDREW’S CABERNET SAUVIGNON 1998
Deep brick red colour with a ruby garnet hue. Ripe Varietal flavours of plum, liquorice, aniseed blackcurrants are tucked away in a complex and enticing aromas. Oak nuances of leather, tobacco, cedar and violets emerge with breathing, creating a generous bouquet. A g enerous wine full of ripe berry flavours and long fine grained tannins characteristic of good Cabernet, rich, warming, silky and sublime. Tobacco, cigar box and mild leather overtones persist on the finish.
