Terroir One: Evening with Wine, Art Celebs

Taking a lead in using out-of-the-box ideas for organising wine evenings which included a wine and spa event earlier, Terroir One, Mumbai Chapter of the Delhi Wine Club arranged a Wine and Art evening recently at J W Marriott Hotel attended by a number of socialites and celebrities, writes Rojita Padhy

Among several celebrities present at the art gallery created at the Reflections, J W Marriott Hotel, Mumbai, were the ad celebrity Prahlad Kakkar and the critically acclaimed movie Director and Producer Shekhar Kapur on whom was the spotlight during the evening. Members of the wine club spent their valuable time interacting with the celebrities- Prahlad Kakkar (PK) is also the Vice President of the club and has been very supportive of the club activities and willing to give a lending hand and name whenever needed. He came through once again for this event.

Several art lovers with penchant for a glass or two of decent wine were also present for the evening- with a glass of Reveilo wines in everyone’s hand. Kiran and Yatin Patil, the owners of Reveilo wines were present at the occasion and were pleased to share a few details about the wine-especially the recently introduced Italian varietals which have become a favourite among the wine lovers.

Paintings by the budding painters Nishant and Anamika whose works were on display at the prestigious gallery, among others were liked and highly appreciated by the guests.

Overall, it was another great evening organised by the Mumbai chapter of the Delhi wine club- ‘Terroir One’ , bringing to end a year full of interesting events marking the end of their first year.
