Special SulaFest 2010 for 10th Anniversary

The tenth anniversary celebrations at Sula Vineyards continue with the special edition of its annual event Sulafest 2010 on February 20, a daylong celebration of music, food and Indian and imported wines and a host of other activities at the amphitheater of its estate vineyards.

From noon till midnight on February 20th, Sulafest partygoers can enjoy a carnival atmosphere of music, food, wine and flea market shopping in the chilled environs of the winery’s beautiful open-air, Greek-style amphitheater.

Sulafest 2010 promises to be bigger and better than ever before according to Sula. There is a fabulous band line-up featuring headlining act Jalebee Cartel, a highly successful live electronic dance music act, getting ready to leave for an extensive tour of Europe this summer.

Anushka Manchanda fronts Shkabang,– a talented group of musicians belting out an eclectic blend of electronica, rock and pop, being featured for the first time this year.

Something Relevant, the highly energetic and original band are known for making their live act unpredictable and lots of fun. Ankur Tewari, whose music is embedded with an acoustic sound and feel and has a legion of followers for his live performances and Teddy Boy Kill, a band from Delhi, known for music that touches on diverse styles within the electronic genre, are the other bands performing at the Sulafest this year.

Spicing up the musical line-up will be eclectic food stalls, including kebabs and pastas & pizzas freshly made at Sula’s very own vineyard restaurants. Wash them down with a wide range of wines produced or imported by Sula.

Another attractive feature will keep the shopaholics busy at the Sulafest Bazaar with an array of art and craft shops, clothing, eco-friendly gifts, and other food stalls. Other activities that promise to keep you enthralled include a live acoustic act, Tarot card reader, relaxing foot massages, jewellery stalls, tattoo and nail artists, a caricature artist, hair braiders and stand-up comedian, with a few surprises still up the organisers’ sleeves.

Tickets may be purchased directly on bookmyshow.com. Contact Sula for more details at 9004608547/ 022 67211900 or log onto www.sulawines.com
