He will no longer be associated with the JW Marriott Mumbai from January 12th, 2009. Julien Lloyd will replace him. 'It is with a touch of regret that after 2 years of planning and personal energy outputs, we never did get to create 'the world's greatest wine bar' at the JW Marriott,' he says.
'Through the countless 'yes we are's' and the 'no we're not's', I soldiered on believing that we would eventually create the much needed platform for a new world order for wine concepts in Mumbai and the rest of India,' he muses.
JW Marriott has created a niche in a very short time, where wine is considered the king beverage and one hopes Julien and the management would remain as passionate and committed as before to maintain the leadership position as one of the best wine destinations in Mumbai.
Based in Mumbai, he hopes to continue with the march despite the peculiarities and difficulties in the Mumbai market in particular and Indian market in general.
