Hotel India Moves: Changes at the Top

Mr. Prasanjit Singh, EAM of Hotel Hyatt Regency, Delhi has decided to move on. He put up his papers Thursday, though he is expected to relinquish his post after the first week in August.

An ex-employee of the Taj chain of hotels, Prasan had risen very well in his assignment with the Hyatt. He plans to join a new start up F & B company being formed by Rajeev Singh of DLF with a restaurateur friend in Moscow. The new company will promote Food and Beverage outlets at the properties being constructed by DLF, including the mega malls.

A modern, happening restaurant at the DLF Emporio in Vasant Kunj is fast coming up and will also be managed by the new company. 'I had a great run at Hyatt with excellent relationship with the owners and my employers. But during the next few years a lot of innovations will happen in the area where I have got an opportunity to use my creativity and experience and be a part of the action,' says Prasan.

EAM is a recently coined term used by the hotels, and is a fair equivalent of Deputy General Manager.
