He was reluctant to disclose his future plans but did disclose that he was going back to France for now and would make his plans after he reaches there.
During the three years he was at this boutique hotel, he revamped the wine program and made it one of the leading hotels, not only in Delhi but throughout India, with excellent range of wine. The seemingly high prices apparently were of no consequence to the hotel residents who are very happy with the wine portfolio which has become more diverse and rounded than ever before, thanks to his efforts.
Stephan has been a leading Sommelier who was also invited to be one of the international judges at the first edition of India Wine Challenge, chaired by Robert Joseph, organised in December, 2007 at Hyatt Regency, another hotel very serious about promoting wines to their clients. |
