Their strategy is to offer a range of complementary wines under a common brand. The new structure, named V.O.G., brings together wine producers from Vauvert, Orsan and Gallargues-le-Montueux. For the launch of the new Vogus line, the three cellars have collaborated to ensure the best possible quality of the range and set up a comprehensive marketing campaign, with 70% of their products to destined for export. Vogus Wines is developing its brand hand in hand with Indospirit Distribution, known for distributing Absolut Vodka, Château Indage, Rémy Martin , and Foster, in India.
“The wine industry is still growing in India. It’s 30% annual growth rate and young consumer habits encourage us to conquer this potentially strong market on a long term basis”, says Nathalie Chaussignand, Export Sales Manager, Vogus Wines India.
Vogus and Vogus Séduction (Premium) offer 3 different "appellations" guaranteeing their origin: the AOC Costières de Nîmes (Vauvert), the AOC Côtes du Rhône (Orsan) and the regional grapes from the Languedoc area Vin de Pays d’Oc – Cépages (Gallargues-le-Montueux). Thus, they are offering a red, white and a rose from each of the 3 regions. Vintages of 2006 & 2007 are being offered. The producers have used innovative packaging that they hope will seduce the eyes and palates of wine-enthusiasts in India.
Vogus Wines will be participating at the IFE-India wine show in Delhi from 2 to 4 December this year along with Indospirit .
