Three Oberoi Hotels in World's Top Ten                     TOP 100 WORLD's BEST HOTELS 2008

The Travel Plus Leisure magazine's 13th annual poll announcing Annual Awards for the Worlds Hotels lists three Oberoi Hotels in the Top 10 with a Taj property being the lone other entry to make  to the Top 100 list.

Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur won the second ranking by scoring 95.7 and thus climbing from last year's 11th spot. Impressive feature of Rajasthani-style fortress and luxury tents and villas, on the edge of the fabled pink city of Jaipur have made this property score high. It was also awarded 4th spot out of the 75 Top Hotels in Asia (2007) and was the Best Hotels in the World for Service by Condé Nast Traveller 's Gold List in 2006.

Singita Sabi Sand & Kruger National Park of South Africa moves up from no. 2 spot last year to bag the top award amongst all hotels around the world with a score of 97.50. Fairmont Mara Safari Club in Masai Mara of Kenya takes the 3rd position.

Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur has been ranked 4th while its Amarvilas in Agra moves from 10th to the 6th position.

"I am delighted and proud of these rankings...We are very encouraged and this news should bring more visitors to India," The Oberoi Group Chairman P R S Oberoi said.

Following have been chosen as the Top 10 Hotels in the world:
