Our Judgment: A must-visit web site for young professionals and wine enthusiasts.

Sanjay Menon is famous in the wine business for his knowledge of the subject and passion for the project. His web site reflects both. It is not just another commercial showcase of the products on an importer's portfolio, but an encyclopaedic source of knowledge for both hospitality professionals and curious connoisseurs who revel in knowing more about wine.

From a user's point of view, it is easy to navigate and nimble in its movements. Click on a name on Sansula's list of products and it'll tell you as much about the wine as about the wine-maker. The language is simple and the information useful. The only (and big) flaw is that you can't connect to the original web sites. I tried to go to the Clos du Val site and failed. I attempted to reach Robert Mondavi and failed again. Menon should activate the links. It'll make his web site more meaningful and worth visiting again.

My big complaint is that though the site has very useful articles on wine grapes, wine storage and service, wine and food pairing, these are static. Menon, I know, has more useful things to do, but he should aim at adding at least a new article a week. It's high time he shares his vast knowledge of wines with those who thirst for it.
