Feria Valencia will host the very first Vinoélite, The Fine Wines Fair, from 18th to 20th April 2007. This international monographic show will be held every two years and will be a magnificent global showcase for top quality wines and distilled spirits.
The Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW) has already confirmed the visit of 30 of its members. These include some of most influential international wine experts.
They will take part in roundtables, tastings, and meetings with the bodegas at Vinoélite. It will be a superb occasion to exchange views and find out what these experts think about the wines presented at the event.
Presided by David Álvarez, from Vega Sicilia, this unique wine event will also host the eleven legendary wineries currently making up PFV: Antinori (Tuscany, Italy), Tenuta San Guido- Sassicaia (Tuscany, Italy), Maison Joseph Drouhin (Bourgogne, France), Champagne Pol Roger (Champagne, France), Hugel & Fils (Alsace, France), Château Mouton Rothschild (Bordeaux, France), Torres (various regions, Spain), Vega Sicilia (various regions, Spain), The Symington Family Port Companies (Porto & Douro, Portugal), Egon Müller-Scharzhof (Saar, Germany) and Château de Beaucastel (Rhone, France).
We would like to remind our readers that all these PFV wineries were in Mumbai on December 4 for tasting of their wines and delWine had reported about the event.
