| Maureen Kerleau is taking part in the IFE for the second time this year with her selection 'Domaines de France' of wines from exclusive family-owned vineyards. 'We have made so much progress since last December that we are now one step further and will also be hosting our new partners and their clients on the stand this year,' says she in an interview from Paris.
The newest additions to the portfolio are a range of organic Alsace wines from Jean Becker, one of the oldest established houses and Domaine de Mayol, a rising star from the Lubéron.
The tasting will again feature wines from Domaine UBY in Gascogne, the star of the show last year, with their rich tropical fruit flavours, New-Look Beaujolais from Maison Coquard, Chablis from Christian Adine, Champagne Royer, Domaine d'Ardhuy, Domaine la Cabotte, the exciting range of Loire Valley wines from Guilbaud Frères, and an interesting selection of good value Bordeaux from Alain Cailley.
Absent from the selection this year are the Vins de Pays varietals. She believes that India produces enough of its own good wines in this category and prefer to concentrate on the wines that show the real 'Terroir' of France.
This comment should make 'Sulas' and 'Grovers' happier and richer.
