IFE -India 2006 returns with 35% more food and drinks:

The country's biggest and best international trade fair for the food, drink and hospitality industry, IFE India returns to Pragati Maidan Exhibition Grounds, New Delhi , from 7 - 9 December 2006. This 4 th edition boasts more than 160 exhibiting companies from around the globe, including 9 international pavilions

As the only international food, drink and hospitality trade fair open exclusively to industry professionals, IFE India has attracted the cream of the global producers, suppliers and manufacturers to exhibit their latest products and services. Champagne Indage, N.D. Wines, Kiara wines are some of the older players taking part for the first time while Pearls Wines (Australian wines), A Votre Sante (French wines) are new entrants hoping to get a piece of the pie.  A total of 16 countries in all will be represented, including the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece, Korea, Turkey, USA and of course India.  

Organised for the first time and taking place on Thursday , December 7 th , the Retail Forum with a cluster of luminary speakers  is a golden opportunity for multiple food retailers to learn from and meet some very successful individuals in Retail.  

The same day the Indian Wine Academy hosts a keynote briefing on 'Indian Wine Market-  International Viewpoint' that will give a snapshot of the current state of the industry and its future. International speakers include Robert Joseph of the Wine Challenge. Ambassadors & Commercial Counselors of some of the wine producing countries represented at the show are also being invited to give their viewpoint. Subhash Arora heads the list of Indian specialists who will attract the key players in the wine and spirits industry.

Montgomery International, London and New Delhi based Inter Ads expect a 35% growth in visitor numbers to match that of the exhibitors and look forward to welcoming more than 7,500 food, drink and hospitality industry professionals from independent and multiple retail buyers, chefs, hoteliers and restaurateurs, importers, wholesalers and distributors as well as producers of food and drink products.
