Chilean wine producer Viña Ventisquero has upped its presence on the UK high street, reports Just-Drinks.com.

The company confirmed that it has secured a listing for its Yali Prem ium Carménère in Waitrose. The listing joins Ventisquero's Yali Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which is already available in Majestic stores.

Said Viña Ventisquero's Marketing Manager, Melanie Whatmore: "Although relatively new to the UK market, Viña Ventisquero has exceeded our expectations in terms of sales, achieving 114% growth since 2004. It is on target to be one of the top three Chilean wineries in the UK ."
