Mumbai's Croptec Consultants & Services, headed by Pratap Arora, is organising a day-long seminar on the 'Advantages of Grafted Rootstock for Production of Wine Grapes' on August 17. The presentation, which is being supported by the Nashik District Grape Wine Manufacturers Association and Austrade Mumbai, will be made by the Mildura Vine Nursery, Australia's largest grapevine nursery located in Victoria, in an area that has become synonymous with Lindemans wines.

Mildura Vine Nursery is an accredited company approved by the National Research Centre for Grapes, Pune. It is one of the largest suppliers of high quality rootstock and grafted vines in Australia. Besides providing quality rootstock and grafted grapevines, it facilitates professional selection of rootstock and advises on vineyard management. The company is also supplying grafted rootstock to reputed wineries in Maharashtra.
