Brown-Forman Corp and Gruppo Italiano Vini have confirmed that they are considering entering into partnership over the production of Bolla Italia wines, reports AFX News on www.forbes.com .
Under the terms of the agreement, Brown Foreman will sell its Bolla wine production facility in Piemonte, Italy, to GIV, from which GIV will produce and sell wine to the American conglomerate that makes Jack Daniel's and Southern Comfort.
Brown-Forman, under the agreement which is likely to be sealed within 90 days, will retain ownership of the Bolla trademark, and market and sell the Bolla wines in other markets around the globe.
In India, Brown-Forman has appointed Viveka Gupta of S. V. Distributors, Mumbai, as the national bonder for Bolla Wines.
