investment will include areas like hotels in the 5 star
and 4 star categories including palace hotels, golf
resorts, business hotels, leisure hotels, spas, clubs
and serviced apartments. The discussions are on with
leading international hotel chains for possible management
and branding tie ups for their business and leisure
hotels.
Among the first hotels of the block, will
be a palace hotel in Jodhpur and the golf resort in
Lucknow, both of which will operate in the luxury segment.
Announcing the launch, Mr. Sushil Ansal,
Chairman, Ansal API said,"Our foray into the hospitality
Industry was long awaited. This is a natural extension
for us as we have already established hotels in India
as overseas as well as clubs in our townships. With
our 40 years of experience in the real estate sector
in India & overseas markets, we feel confident of
launching our own chain of hotels throughout India."
He further added that "A team of
international architects including golf course designer
Mr. Martin Hawtree are designing the Lucknow Golf Resort.
The company intends to build more golf resorts in its
upcoming townships."
