As the real estate behemoth and mall developer, DLF, prepares to float an IPO, a director of the company has revealed that it will develop more than 100 hotels with 25,000 rooms in the next five to ten years.

Shakti Singh said in an interview with www.moneycontrol.com that DLF will enter into a JV with an international player to get its expertise both in the development and operation of its hotels.

"DLF has fairly aggressive plans in the hotel space right now. We think the market is right for us to enter this sector in a big way. . We are looking at all segments of the hospitality space," Singh said in the interview.
