Dear Reader,
It is with pride and pleasure that we present the 100th edition of delWine . We had started with mailing it on a daily basis (Mon-Fri) ; we were the first ones to do so in India . Our focus remains on wine and food, followed by spirits and hospitality industry. We have been giving an overview of the Retail sector primarily as wine retail is going to be an important segment of market, expected to touch 50% of the total market sales. This also gives the correct vibrations to foreign wine producers and the budding Indian enterpreneurs.
We have been giving ´Breaking News´ occasionally, though our objective is to keep our viewers abreast on the current wine scene in India and news to enjoy wines better. The compliments we have been getting from many of you are reward enough to stay committed to the regular publication of this free eNewsletter.
One complaint we get frequently is that the eNewsletter is not reaching some. This is primarily due to your mail server having very strong firewall, treating the mail as bulk mail or spam.If you know of your friend/colleague who is not getting it regularly, please let us know.
Starting from this issue, we shall be sending delWine from delwine@indianwineacademy.com to see if it helps . If you register this address as an acceptable address on your mail server,it won´t treat it as a spam as perhaps it is doing at present. Any suggestions on solving the problem will be highly appreciated.
We continue to follow the policy of not sending the newsletter to anyone not desiring to receive it. But as you might have noticed, some info is always of great interest. You can read what you like and store-delete the rest.
Greetings from Madrid, Spain where I am attending MadridFusion, a food and wine show. Do send us your comments and suggestions. They are most valuable to us. If you like what you read, be generous and let us know - it increases the alcohol level in the body. So does the positive criticism.
Please say Cheers to our 100th issue.
