April 29: The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) has revamped its flagship diploma qualification programme as part of several changes to its educational schemes that will also see the launch of a level 3 spirits course, with effect from 1 August, 2019, writes Subhash Arora who refused to do the courses since Spirits tasting was mandatory and still believes they should lower rates for countries like India to educate many more people. April 30: Organising a Delhi Wine Club Dinner in Gurgaon is a Herculean task since most Delhi members are not tuned to travelling to Gurgaon, but with a view to remove the misunderstanding about traffic on Sundays, we chose Lock and Key Restaurant in the heart of Gurgaon, opposite Galleria, writes Subhash Arora who was pleasantly surprised by the numbers attending in droves, making it perhaps the best attended dinner in Gurgaon where Robert Mondavi wines were the protagonists but the excellent, innovative food was an equal incentive to attend. |
