Service Tax on Wines in Restaurants Confirmed by HC
Aug 16: The Delhi High Court has upheld the decision of the Central government imposing service tax on food and beverages including wine served in air-conditioned restaurants and hotels across the country, making the approximate 5% service tax being charged as legally kosher.
