IWSR: Indian wine market grows by over 15% in 2013
May 28: Total wine consumed in India in 2013 was 2.36 million cases that included 1.18million cases of still wine, 111,250 cases of sparkling wine and 334,500 cases of imported wine with the ‘other wine’ section included in the current Report for the first time, adding 1.03 million cases. Red wines constituted 61% of the total still wine segment, according to the 2014 edition of the International Wine and Spirit Research (IWSR) released last week.
